Proud Like a God is the debut album of the alternative rock band Guano Apes. The album was released in 6 October 1997 on BMG and GUN/Supersonic Records. It includes the singles "Open Your Eyes", "Lords of the Boards" and "Rain".
The album was certified platinum in Germany, for shipping 200,000 copies,[3] and in Switzerland.[4]
